Visit
The workshop will take place in Veli Lošinj, on the island of Lošinj in Croatia, a unique Adriatic destination known for its natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere.
Participants will stay at Hotel Punta, a four-star hotel located directly on the coast and within walking distance of the town centre. You can find more information about the hotel on their website.
Accommodation will be provided in shared double rooms, creating additional opportunities for interaction and networking among participants.

Veli Lošinj
Veli Lošinj is a small historic town located on the island of Lošinj, in the northern Adriatic Sea. Known for its colourful harbour, Mediterranean architecture and relaxed coastal atmosphere, the town has long been recognised as a destination associated with health, science and nature.
Lošinj is often referred to as the “Island of Vitality”, thanks to its exceptionally clean air, mild climate and rich marine environment. The island has a long tradition as a health resort dating back to the 19th century, when it became a popular destination for visitors seeking the therapeutic benefits of its maritime climate.
Surrounded by pine forests and crystal-clear waters, Veli Lošinj offers a peaceful setting that encourages informal discussions and scientific exchange outside the lecture hall. The close proximity between the conference venue, the town and the sea creates an environment where networking and collaboration can continue naturally throughout the event.

How to reach the event
Zagreb Airport – Venue – Zagreb Airport Shuttle
Bus shuttles will be provided:
• from Zagreb Franjo Tuđman Airport to Veli Lošinj on Sunday, 18 October (morning/early afternoon)
• from Veli Lošinj to Zagreb Franjo Tuđman Airport on Thursday, 22 October (morning)
A detailed schedule will be shared closer to the conference.

If you use your own means of transportation, Veli Lošinj can be reached by:
• Car: via the Krk (Valbiska–Merag) or Brestova–Porozina ferries to Cres Island, then crossing the bridge that connects the islands of Cres and Lošinj.
• Person ferry (catamaran): from Rijeka, Zadar, or Pula directly to nearby Mali Lošinj (approx. 2 km from Veli Lošinj).
• Bus: direct lines are available from Zagreb and Rijeka to Mali Lošinj.
• Plane: via international airports in Zagreb, Rijeka, Pula, or Zadar.
From Mali Lošinj to Veli Lošinj (Hotel Punta), participants can take a taxi (approx. 5–10 minutes) or a local bus. Taxis are readily available at the catamaran port and the bus station.
Travel time from Zagreb to Lošinj is approximately 4–5 hours by car or bus, depending on the ferry route and schedule.
