Guidelines for poster presentations
Posters can be put up from Monday 19th onward in the lecture hall of the congress venue. The posters can remain here during the entire duration of the conference, but a dedicated poster session (with drinks) will be held on October 20th after dinner, from 20.00-21.00h, when presenters are asked to be present.
Please prepare your poster according to the following guidelines:
Size and orientation: Posters must be in portrait orientation, with maximum dimensions of 90 cm wide × 120 cm high.
Language: Please prepare your poster in English.
Title and authors: Clearly display the poster title, author names and institutional affiliations at the top. Indicate the presenting author.
Content: Organize your poster into clear sections, such as Background, Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusions. Focus on your main findings and the message you would like participants to remember.
Readability: Use a clear layout, short paragraphs and a font size that can be read comfortably from approximately 1–2 metres away. As a guide, use at least 24-point font for the main text.
Figures and tables: Prioritize clear figures over lengthy text. Include concise captions and ensure that labels, symbols and axes are easy to read.
Preparation: Please bring your printed poster with you to the meeting.
Presentation: Be ready to give a brief, approximately 3–5-minute overview of your work and to discuss your findings with other participants. During your designated poster session, please remain near your poster.
Your poster should provide a clear starting point for scientific discussion. We encourage you to highlight open questions and ideas for future research alongside your results.
